Own a piece of Comanche history on the downtown square! The Chilton-Harelik Building traces its roots to 1874, when James Buchanan paid $850 in gold coins for the property. Rebuilt in 1890, it later housed Novit's Dept. Store for more than 35 years. Today this approx. 5,450 SF building blends historic character with open, flexible space, including original hardwood floors, timber beams, and corrugated metal ceilings. The main floor offers a spacious dining area and two multi-stall restrooms. The kitchen area, with a commercial hood in place, offers flexibility to configure the space for your specific operation. A remodeled 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment with its own kitchen and separate entrance is ideal for owner living or rental income. A rear courtyard adds outdoor space. The building is vacant and zoned C1. Buyer to verify all information.
